ACCESSIBILITY OF LIFE-JACKETS

(a)    The life-jacket should be accessible from the seat or berth of the person for whose use it is provided, with a safety belt or restraint system fastened.

(b)    On aeroplanes where the certification basis allows the life jacket to be stowed under the passenger seat cushion, the life-jacket should be accessible from the seat or berth of the person for whose use it is provided, when that person is standing in a position adjacent to their seat.
