OPERATIONAL CONTROL

1. ORO.GEN.110(c) does not imply a requirement for licensed flight dispatchers.

2. If the operator employs flight operations officers in conjunction with a method of operational control, training for these personnel should be based on relevant parts of ICAO Doc 7192 Training Manual, Part D-3. This training should be described in the operations manual.

For circling, the specified MDH should not be less than 250 ft, and the VIS not less than 800m.

1. Point ORO.GEN.110(c) does not imply a requirement for licensed flight operations officers (FOOs) / flight dispatchers (FDs).

2. If the operator uses FOOs/FDs in conjunction with a method of operational control, training for that personnel should be based on the relevant parts of ICAO Annex 1 and ICAO Documents 10106 and 9868. This training should be described in the OM.
